Duplicating a section for other languages
Copy a section to another language version of your site when you have multiple languages enabled.
If you have a multilingual wedding website, you can duplicate sections to other language versions to save time when translating content.
What this feature does
Creates a copy for translation. The section is duplicated for a different language version of your site.
Saves time. Start with your existing content instead of creating from scratch.
Keeps structure consistent. Both language versions have the same sections.
How to duplicate a section for another language
Go to Website in your main navigation
Click on the section you want to duplicate
In the section editor sidebar, click Duplicate for other languages?
Select the language you want to duplicate to
Click Save changes
A copy of the section is created for the selected language when you save.
What gets duplicated
All content. Text, images, links, everything.
Settings. Width, colors, spacing, privacy settings.
Structure. If it's a complex section like a timeline with multiple items, all items copy over.
Requirements
This feature is only available if you have multiple languages enabled for your site. If you only have one language, you won't see the "Duplicate for other languages?" option.
After duplicating
Once you have the duplicate in another language:
Switch to that language using the language selector
Find the duplicated section on your page
Translate the content to the target language
Save your changes
The duplicate is a starting point for translation, not the final product!
Tips
Translate after duplicating. The duplicated section contains your original language text, so make sure to translate it.
Keep sections consistent. When you update one language version, remember to update the other languages too.
Check all languages before publishing. Make sure each language version has complete, translated content.
