How do I share my website on social media?
Control how your wedding website appears when shared on Facebook, Instagram, and other social platforms.
Short answer: Go to Website > Builder > Site settings to set the image and description that appears when your site is shared.
Setting up social sharing
Go to Website > Builder
Click Site settings
In the General tab, find Social sharing image
Upload an image (recommended: 1200 x 630 pixels)
Enter a Wedding website title and Wedding website description
Click Save
What appears when shared
When someone shares your wedding URL on social media, they'll see:
Image: The social sharing image you uploaded
Title: Your wedding website title
Description: A brief description you provide
URL: Your wedding website address
Recommended image size
Facebook/LinkedIn: 1200 x 630 pixels
Twitter: 1200 x 600 pixels
General: 1200 x 630 pixels works across most platforms
Tips
Use a photo of you as a couple for recognition
Keep the description brief but informative
Test by sharing your URL in a private message to yourself
Social platforms cache images, so changes may take time to appear
Use Facebook's Sharing Debugger to clear cached previews
If the image isn't showing
Make sure you've uploaded a social sharing image
Check that your site is published
Use Facebook's Sharing Debugger to refresh the cache
Wait a few minutes and try sharing again
