How do I customize the Save the Date page?
Edit the save the date section that appears on your wedding website.
Short answer: Go to your website builder and edit the Save the Date section to customize the design, text, and date display.
Save the Date page vs ecard
There are two different things:
- Save the Date page: A section on your wedding website
- Save the Date ecard: A digital card you send via email

Finding the Save the Date section
Go to Website > Builder
Look for the Save the Date section
Click to edit it
What you can customize
Date display:
- Date format (Month Day, Year vs Day Month Year)
- How the date appears in different languages
- Countdown timer option
Design:
- Background image or color
- Text colors and fonts
- Layout and spacing
Content:
- Your names
- Wedding date
- Location preview
- Additional message
Date format for multiple languages
If you have a multilingual site:
1. Check date format in each language
2. Adjust translations if needed
3. Some languages show dates differently (10 October vs October 10)
Adding a countdown
To show days until your wedding:
1. Edit the Save the Date section
2. Look for countdown option
3. Enable it
4. Choose the display format
