How do I add song requests to RSVP?
Let guests suggest songs for your reception playlist when they RSVP.
Plan requirement: Standard or Pro plan
Short answer: Add a custom text question like "What song would get you on the dance floor?" to your RSVP form.
Adding a song request question
Go to RSVP > Questions
Click Add question
Enter your question:
"What song would get you on the dance floor?"
"Request a song for our playlist!"
"What's your favorite party song?"
Choose Short text as the question type
Set as optional (not required)
Set to ask per household (not per guest)
Click Save
Viewing song requests
Go to RSVP > Responses
View the song suggestions from each response
Export to create a playlist
Creating your playlist
After collecting requests:
- Review all suggestions
- Remove inappropriate songs
- Share with your DJ or create a Spotify playlist
- Mix requests with your own selections
Tips
Make this question optional - not everyone will have a suggestion
One request per household is usually enough
Word the question playfully to get fun responses
You don't have to play every request
Share your final playlist on your website for guests to preview
