Can I create multiple versions of my ecard?
Create language versions of your ecard for guests who speak different languages.
Plan requirement: Pro plan (for multiple language versions)
Short answer: You can create different language versions of your ecard using the multilingual feature (Pro plan only). You cannot create multiple versions with different designs or content for the same language.
Language versions
With the Pro plan's multilingual feature, you can create ecard versions in different languages:
English version for some guests
French, Spanish, or other languages for others
Each language version can have different wording
Recipients receive the ecard in their preferred language
Setting up language versions
To create ecard versions in different languages:
Go to Settings > Languages
Add the languages you need (Pro plan only)
Create your ecard in the default language
Switch to another language using the language selector
Translate the ecard content for that language
Save your changes
Repeat for each language
When guests receive the ecard, they'll see it in the language you've set for them in the guest list.
What about different designs or content?
WedSites does not support creating multiple versions of the same ecard type. You have:
One save the date per language
One invitation per language
You cannot create:
Multiple save the dates with different designs
Multiple invitations with different content for different guest groups
Different variations for different events (ceremony vs. reception)
All guests receiving the same ecard type in the same language will see identical content and design. The only way to have different versions is to use different languages (Pro plan only).
Tips
Language versions share the same design but can have different text
Make sure to set the correct language for each guest in your guest list
Test each language version before sending
Keep key details (date, time, venue) consistent across all language versions
