Editing your profile
Learn how to update your name, email, avatar, role label, language, and layout preferences in your user profile.
Your profile controls how you appear to your partner and team members, and how your dashboard looks and behaves.
How to access your profile
Go to Settings > Users
Click on your own name in the user list
Or click your avatar in the top right corner to access profile options.
What you can edit
Name
Update your first name and last name. This is how you'll appear in the user list and in notifications to other team members.
Change the email address associated with your account. This is the email you use to log in and where you receive notifications.
Avatar
Upload a profile photo or image. Your avatar appears in the top right corner of the dashboard and next to your name in the user list. Click the avatar area to upload a new image.
Role label
Set a custom role label that appears next to your name. This is a display label to help your team know who does what, for example "Bride," "Groom," "Wedding planner," or "Maid of honor." It doesn't affect your permissions.
Language
Choose your preferred language for the WedSites dashboard. Available languages:
English
Deutsch (German)
Español (Spanish)
Français (French)
Italiano (Italian)
日本語 (Japanese)
Português (Portuguese)
This changes the language of the dashboard interface. It does not affect your wedding website language, which is configured separately in your site settings.
Layout
Choose between two dashboard layouts:
Full - The standard layout with all dashboard elements visible
Minimal - A simplified layout for a cleaner look
Password
Update your login password. Enter a new password and confirm it. If you don't want to change your password, leave these fields blank.
Saving changes
After making your changes, click Save changes to apply them. Your updates take effect immediately.
Tips
Use your real name. Your partner and team members see your name in the user list. Make it easy for everyone to know who's who.
Upload an avatar. A profile photo makes the dashboard feel more personal, especially when multiple people are managing the wedding.
Set your language. If English isn't your first language, switch to one of the 7 supported languages. The entire dashboard will display in your chosen language.
