The Stationery section of the dashboard will gives you access to your very own digital Save the Date and Invitation ecards that you can send directly through the platform.
The design will automatically match the template that was chosen for the wedding website, but if you’re working with a stationer or have designed your own save the date or invitation card, you also have the option to upload your own custom stationery to replace the existing card you see here by going to Edit ecard > “Upload custom stationery image”.
Under “Compose”, you will also have the option to send out plain text emails and these other pre-formatted emails with a call to action button asking your guests to send you their details, RSVP online, or visit their wedding website.
So for example, if we click on the visit wedding website option, you’ll be taken to this screen where you can further customize the message that will go out, upload an image to go along with the email if they’d like, and format the message.
To save yourself a lot of time, you’ll want to compose one email that you can send to multiple guests while addressing them by their first name or maybe their household name which you can find by clicking on the “Insert” drop down menu. If you need to make changes to the household names, you can find this under Guests > Households.
Next is the “include a call to action” option, will display a button within the email which will take them to the wedding website or any of these other links.
If you want to include additional links within your email, you can click on the link icon to add one within the body of the email, but you can only have 1 call to action button within each email.
Next you can select the guests you want to send this message to and continue to preview the email where you can send yourself a test email to see how it looks or click on the “Send now” button to send that email out to all your guests!
