How do I edit the header image?
Change the header image at the top of your wedding website to feature your own photos or customize the hero area.
Short answer: Go to Website > Builder, open Site settings, and upload a new image on the Header tab.
Changing the header image
Go to Website > Builder
Click Site settings
Click the Header tab
Under Header image, click Upload header image (1280px width) (if you already have one, click Delete first to replace it)
Select your photo
Click Save changes
The header image appears at the top of your home page, above your names.
Alternative method
You can also click directly on the header in the preview:
Hover over your names in the header of your website preview
Click Edit header
Site settings opens on the Header tab, where you can upload or change the header image
To use a different header image on a single page, open that page's Page settings and upload an image under Header image.
Recommended image size
Width: At least 1280 pixels wide, as the upload button suggests
Height: No set height. The whole image is shown at full width with its own proportions, so it isn't cropped
Aspect ratio: Landscape orientation works best, since a tall photo makes a tall header
File size: Under 5MB for faster loading
Header layout options
On the Header tab you can also:
Show or hide your names with Display names in header
Show the wedding date with Display wedding date in header
Add a custom logo instead of text with Custom header logo
Add a Header background behind your names, and tick Overlay image with white text to show your header text in white over it
Tips
The full image scales down to fit phone screens, so small details get smaller on mobile
Test your header on mobile preview to ensure it looks good
Consider the text contrast if you have names displayed over a header background
