Why is my page not showing on my website?
Troubleshoot when a page you created isn't visible to guests on your live wedding website.
Short answer: For a page to appear on your website, three things must be true: the page must be published, its visibility must be set to public (or the guest must have access), and the page must be checked in your navigation menu under Site settings > Menu > Navigation links.
Important: Draft pages are listed under Navigation links too, so a ticked box doesn't mean the page is live. A draft page stays hidden from guests even when its box is checked, so publish it as well.
The three requirements for a visible page
1. The page must be published
A page set to draft won't appear on your live site at all. Guests who visit its URL are sent to your home page. It still appears in the Navigation links list under Site settings > Menu, but it won't show in your menu until it's published.
Go to Website > Builder
Find the page in the page tabs along the top of the builder
If it shows "(draft)", click on the page tab
Click Settings, turn on Publish page, and click Save changes
2. The page must be set to the right visibility
Even if published, a page may be hidden from certain guests based on its privacy setting.
Visibility: Public: Visible to everyone who visits your site
All guests (checked in): Only visible to guests who have checked in
Guests in a group: Only visible to checked-in guests in a specific group
Guests of an event: Only visible to checked-in guests invited to a specific event
You can also choose Hide from: instead of Display to: to hide the page from a group or from guests of an event.
If a guest can't see a page, check that the page visibility matches who you want to see it. For public visitors, the page should show Visibility: Public in its Page settings.
3. The page must be added to the navigation menu
This is the most commonly missed step! Even if your page is published and public, it won't appear in your header navigation menu unless its box is checked. New pages are checked automatically, but the box may have been unchecked.
Go to Website > Builder
Click Site settings
Select the Menu tab
Find the Navigation links section
Look for your page in the list and check the box next to it
Click Save changes
Your page will now appear in the navigation menu for guests to find.
Common scenarios
"I created a new page but it's not in the menu"
New pages are added to your navigation menu automatically, but only once they're published. If the page is published and still missing, its box may have been unchecked. Go to Site settings > Menu > Navigation links and check the box next to your page, or turn on Show in navigation in its Page settings. A page also won't appear in the menu if its Page title is blank.
"My page isn't even in the Navigation links list"
If you open Site settings > Menu and your page is missing from the Navigation links list entirely (not just unchecked), the page belongs to a different language. On a multilingual site, each language has its own pages and its own navigation links. Switch the website builder to the page's language, open Site settings > Menu, and check its box there. You can see or change a page's language in its Page settings.
"My page was showing before but now it's gone"
Check all three requirements above. It's possible the page was accidentally unpublished, its visibility was changed, or it was unchecked in the navigation links.
"Some guests can see the page but others can't"
This is caused by the page's visibility setting. If the page is private and set to display to All guests (checked in), Guests in a group, or Guests of an event, only guests who have checked in and meet the criteria will see it. Guests without access won't see the page in the menu, and visiting its URL sends them to your home page.
"The page works when I visit the URL directly but isn't in the menu"
If guests can open it too, the page is published and accessible, but it isn't checked in the navigation menu. Go to Site settings > Menu > Navigation links and check the box for that page. While you're logged in, you can open draft pages by URL as well, so test the link in an incognito window to see what guests see.
Quick checklist
Use this checklist when a page isn't showing:
Is the site itself published?
Is the individual page published (not draft)?
Is the page visibility set correctly (public, all checked-in guests, a group, or an event)?
Is the page checked in Site settings > Menu > Navigation links?
If all four are yes and the page still isn't showing, try clearing your browser cache or testing in an incognito window.
Tips
After creating a new page, always visit Site settings > Menu to confirm it's checked in the navigation links
Remember that guests can still access a page via direct URL even if it's not in the menu
Preview your site after making changes to confirm the page appears as expected
Test on both desktop and mobile to make sure the menu looks right
