Adding multiple guests at once
Import your entire guest list in one go using a CSV file instead of adding guests one by one.
Got a long list of people to add? The CSV import feature lets you upload your entire guest list from a spreadsheet app like Excel or Google Sheets.
Importing guests from a CSV file
Go to Guests in your main navigation
Click Import
Upload your CSV file
Click Continue
WedSites will read your file and create guest entries for each row.
Preparing your CSV file
Before importing, set up your spreadsheet with columns for the guest details you want to include:
First name (required)
Last name
Email
Household
List (A-list or B-list)
Age (Adult, Child, Infant)
Side
Group
Save the file as a CSV (.csv) from your spreadsheet app. Most apps (Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers) have a "Save as CSV" or "Download as CSV" option.
Tips for a smooth import
Start with a clean spreadsheet. Remove any extra rows, headers you don't need, or formatting before saving as CSV.
Check your column names. Make sure the column headers match what WedSites expects so the data maps correctly.
Review after importing. Once the import completes, look through your guest list to make sure everything came through correctly. You can edit any guest individually if something needs adjusting.
Add details later. If your spreadsheet only has names and emails, that is fine. You can always fill in additional details like dietary requirements, phone numbers, and notes by editing each guest after the import.
