1. Click on the budget item
2. Select from the Category dropdown
3. Click Save

Your budget can display items grouped by category, showing subtotals for each group. The dashboard widget also shows a category breakdown with estimated vs. actual comparisons.

Be consistent. If you have multiple photography expenses, put them all in the Photography category for accurate totals.
