Adding a new guest
To add a new guest into your guest list manager, click on Guests from your dashboard and click on the "Add guest" button.
From this screen, you'll be able to add your guest's basic details (first and last name, email address, physical address, etc).
Guest details
In the Guest details section, you can specify which list, side, group, age, and any dietary requirements they may have.
The purpose of this section is to give you some filtering options which will come in handy once you've added all your guests.
The A-list and B-list
The A-list and B-list options can be used to help you organize your guests into priority lists.
For couples with large families and/or friend groups, it's very common for them to end up with a huge guest list.
If you fall into this category, and need to do some re-evaluating of your list, you can use the A-list for guests you absolutely can't image getting married without and the B-list for guests you would like to invite if your venue capacity and/or budget will allow for it.
If you have the capacity to invite everyone and have no need for a B-list, add all your guests to your A-list.
Side
The side option is for specifying whether a guest is coming from you or your partner's side of the family or friend circle.
Often times couples will have a common friend group, so if you can't agree which side a guest falls into, you can always choose the Both option!
Group
The group option is useful for organizing your different groups of friends and family together.
Age
Specifying whether the guest is an Adult, Child, or Infant will come in handy when you need to tell your caterer how many adult and children's meals they need to prepare.
Dietary
As your wedding day approaches, your caterer will usually ask you for your guest's dietary requirements (allergies, preferences, etc).
Don't feel bad if you don't know off the top of your head - This is where the RSVP form comes in handy!
Make your life easier by having your guests tell you what their dietary requirements are when they RSVP on your website.
If your guests have a dietary preference, they can select yes to the question below and fill out the empty field.
In the example above, the guest specified in the RSVP form that they are allergic to nuts.
Once the guest submits their RSVP, their dietary preferences and other responses will automatically be saved in your guest list database.
To enable this feature of collecting dietary requirements from your guests, go to your RSVP settings and make sure this option is on.
