Can I export my data?

Want to make sure your wedding data isn't locked away? You're in full control of everything you've added to WedSites.

Short answer: Yes. You can export your guest list, RSVP responses, budget, tasks, seating chart, and more to CSV files at any time. You can also download a complete static HTML backup of your entire wedding website as a zip file.

What you can export

WedSites lets you download CSV exports across most features, so your data is always accessible outside the platform. Here's what you can export:

  • Guest list. Export all your guest details, including names, contact info, groups, tags, and RSVP status.

  • RSVP responses. Download a full breakdown of who's coming, who's not, and their answers to any custom questions.

  • Budget. Export your entire budget with categories, estimated costs, actual costs, and payments.

  • Tasks. Download your checklist with due dates, statuses, and assignments.

  • Seating chart. Export your table assignments and seating arrangements.

  • Website backup. Download a static HTML copy of your entire wedding website — every page, ecard, image, and stylesheet — as a single zip file you can keep on your computer or host yourself.

No vendor lock-in

Your data belongs to you. CSV files are a universal format that works with virtually any spreadsheet tool, including:

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Google Sheets

  • Apple Numbers

  • LibreOffice Calc

You can export your data whenever you want, whether it's to back things up, share with a wedding planner, or just keep a copy for your records.

Print options

Beyond CSV exports, many lists and views also offer print-friendly layouts. This is handy when you need a physical copy for your venue coordinator, caterer, or day-of planner.

Tips

  • Export your guest list before your wedding day so you have a backup handy.

  • Use CSV exports to share specific info with vendors without giving them access to your account.

  • Open CSV files in Google Sheets if you want to collaborate on them with your partner or planner.
