Why isn't my page in the Menu tab?
If your page is missing from Site settings > Menu > Navigation links, it's because the page is still set to draft. Only published pages appear in the list.
What's happening
The Navigation links section of the Menu tab only lists published pages. Draft pages are filtered out entirely — they don't even show up as an unchecked option. So if you're looking for a page to add to your navigation menu and you can't find it in the list, the page hasn't been published yet.
This is a common source of confusion. Many people expect to see every page they've created in the Menu tab, and when a page is missing they assume something is broken. It isn't — the page just needs to be published first.
How to fix it
Go to Website > Builder
Find the page in your pages list
If it shows "(draft)" next to the title, the page isn't published
Click on the page to open its settings
Turn on the Publish toggle (or click Publish)
Click Save changes
Go back to Site settings > Menu
Find the Navigation links section — your page is now in the list
Check the box next to your page
Click Save changes
Your page will now appear in the navigation menu on your live site!
Why drafts are excluded
Draft pages are for content you're still working on. Hiding them from the Menu tab prevents you from accidentally linking guests to an unfinished page from your navigation.
When you're ready to share the page, publishing it unlocks all the usual menu and visibility controls.
Quick check
If a page isn't in the Navigation links list, ask yourself:
Did I create the page? (Check Website > Builder)
Is it published? (Look for the "(draft)" label)
Did I save after publishing?
Once the page is published and saved, it will appear in Site settings > Menu > Navigation links on your next visit to that tab.
Related scenarios
"The page is in the list but unchecked"
If your page is in the list but the checkbox is unchecked, the page is published — you just haven't added it to the menu yet. Check the box and click Save changes.
"The page is in the list and checked, but still doesn't appear in the menu"
Make sure you clicked Save changes after checking the box. Then reload your live site. If it still isn't showing, check the page's privacy settings — private pages only appear to guests with access.
"I don't see any pages in the list"
If the Navigation links list is empty except for save the date and invitation, none of your pages are published yet. Go to Website > Builder and publish at least one page.
