Event RSVP Forms
April 2026
Give every event its own direct RSVP link and QR code so guests can respond to just that event.
Plan requirement: Standard or Pro plan
What's new
Every wedding event you add now has its own standalone RSVP form and shareable link. Guests who open the link go straight to the RSVP for that one event — without touching the main wedding RSVP. This is perfect for welcome dinners, rehearsal dinners, after-parties, day-after brunches, and any side event you want to collect a response for on its own.
How it works
Go to RSVP > Events
Click the event you want to share
Open the RSVP tab
Copy the Event RSVP link or download the QR code
Share it by email, text, printed insert, or day-of signage
Each event's URL contains a unique random token (like yoursite.wedsites.com/rsvp/a3f9b2...) so links can't be guessed or swapped between events.
Independent from the main RSVP
When a guest opens an event link, they see a stripped-down form focused on just that event:
No main wedding attendance step — guests go straight to their event response
Status is tracked per event — the event ticket status is updated, the main guest status is left alone
A guest can mix and match — they can decline the main wedding but still attend a specific event (or vice versa)
Only the relevant questions appear — questions linked to this event show up; questions tied to other events are skipped
A/B list restrictions don't apply — the event link bypasses the main form's A/B list filter
The event's exclusive guest list still applies. If you've restricted an event to specific guests, only those guests can RSVP via the link.
New event form settings
The RSVP tab of the event editor has three new toggles that shape the event-specific form:
Enable RSVPs — Master switch for the event. When off, the event is hidden from both the main form and its direct link, and guests who open the link see a closed notice. Use this to pause an event without deleting it.
Include general questions — Off by default. When on, questions that aren't tied to any specific event also appear on this event's form. Leave off for a focused event-only form.
Collect guest details — Off by default. When on, guests are asked for email, phone, address, dietary needs, and an optional message as part of the event RSVP. Turn on when you need those details again for a specific event (for example, re-confirming dietary requirements for a sit-down dinner).
Where to use event links
Day-of signage — Print the QR code on a welcome sign for the rehearsal dinner so guests can RSVP on the spot
Separate email invitations — Send the event link in its own email for optional extras like a Sunday brunch
Group chats and texts — Drop the link into a group thread for a pre-wedding hangout
Printed inserts — Add the QR code to invitation inserts for side events
Social posts — Share the link in a private group for a casual gathering
Tips
Use event links for optional extras. Keep the main RSVP form for the ceremony and reception, and use event links for everything on the side.
Turn off "Include in main RSVP" if you only want the event link. This keeps the event off the main form so it's accessible only via its dedicated link.
Test the link in an incognito tab. Walk through the flow as a sample guest before you share it to make sure everything looks right.
